I know that birds carry things that could hurt my dog. I feel sorry for my dog that has to eat/drink after these birds. The bird droppings are everywhere including in my dogs food and water. I have tried the fake Owls and streamers and nothing works.

I am not sure about a “traditional” scarecrow, because the tree is rather tall and wide, so the birds wouldn’t really see it from the top.
