Starting a few days ago we have been getting multiple birds flying around my house. Large birds with wings spans between 11-14 in. We blocked off the kitty door to the attic, but i still got one this morning. They are brown and light grey, Large pointy long beaks. We are able to get them out a window or door but they keep coming back. Any advice?

Have you ever spotted any unusual birds that aren’t common to your area? What sort of food mixtures do you use if you do feed them? Thanks.. I love to watch and feed the birds and I wonder what sort of birds are out there in other parts of the country and world.

How have birds adapted to be able to fly long distances?
A. They have short legs so their feet don’t touch the ground.
B. Their feathers keep them warm.
C. They have extra air sacs for a double supply of oxygen.
D. They always fly in a group, which makes the trip go faster.

We have a family of little birds flying in and out of our bathroom vent in the house. We could put up a screen to cover the vent, but we dont want to trap any of them inside the vent to die. I guess the idea would be to lure them out and then cover vent opening with a screen. Any similar problems or ideas to help us with this dilemma?
the way the vent is set up, we cant see all the way inside to know if birds are out or if there is a nest….etc.

These birds are pooping all over it and I can’t stand it! I keep wiping off the swingset with clorox wipes, but I can’t keep up with it. I am to the point where I don’t even let my girls play on it anymore. I am very concerned about germs and disease. Any suggestions?

My cat keeps bringing home dead birds. How can I stop this and what does it mean?

He was a stray and we decided to keep him. We took him to the vet over a month ago, so he has received all of his shots and is in a healthy condition. However, every so often he keeps killing birds and bringing them into the house. I’ve heard that this can be a sign of appreciation for taking care of him, however how can we train him to stop?

Also, are there any dangers in him killing these birds and bringing them into the house?

My friend says that birds go back to their same nest after migration. But, I think they make a new one.
If it depends on the bird, will you tell me what kind of bird goes back to their same nest?
Please help me with this question. Thank you.

I am trying to grow grass, it’s very hot out there and birds keep eating the seeds.
I put a thin plastic wrap over the ground to protect the seeds from birds and to avoid water to evaporate. Is that a good idea?
Any other suggestions?

We have been having a very severe storm with rain and winds up to 180 km per hour — and I just wonder what happens to the birds during a storm like this? Do they know it is coming and leave or do they find shelter, if so where? Also I don’t know what category to list this question under so please don’t tell me I have listed it in the wrong one.
