My father recently bought my mother a cuckoo clock at an antique store. The clock worked at the store however now that it is at home it doesnt. The weights on the clock wont move and the cuckoo birds do not come out and cuckoo. How can we fix this problem? BTW the cuckoo whistles work as well as the bellows just not the birds and the weights.

We don’t have a bird feeder, or birdboxes. but recently there have been several species of birds coming to nest in our window sills (we have a wall of a bunch of windows, and now there at 3 birds nests in them) also, birds will continuously throw themselves up against the glass. i woudn’t be so freaked, but the birds are all diffrent kinds. as i write this now i am listening to two diffrent birds throw themselves against a window. I don’t mind this…it just strikes me as odd. and it has never happened before in all of the years i’ve lived here. anyone have any answers?

so now they are taking baths and crapping allover my pond which has a wooden exterior and i applied two coats of polyurethane, so how else can i protect my pond and its contents. one of my fish is missing, so now i think the birds are eating them(goldfish) its a 313 gallon pond.
i have only seen the birds land on my lily pads and than quickly jump off

I fill the feeder. The first day, there are no birds. The next day, there are dozens. Is it smell? Sight? Some high-tech device that they purchased at Radio Shack? I looked around on the Internet for an answer, but could find nothing definitive. Any bird-lovers out there who can solve this mystery for me?
